New YT4 Concept Tractor of the Future
Yanmar will provide Agritechnica visitors with a glimpse of the future with an innovative tractor model, the YT4. Representing the future of agricultural equipment, the new, large-size tractor is Yanmar’s flagship model first time shown to European public during Agritechnica. Styled by world-renowned Ferrari designer Ken Okuyama and finished in a bold, bright red, the YT Series is built with operator comfort, power, low energy consumption and environmental friendliness to the fore.
YT3 Tractor for landscaping, municipality and Small-Scale Farming
Also on show at Agritechnica will be the YT3 tractor. This model is currently in production in the US and is scheduled to be launched to US customers next year with a European release scheduled for 2017. YT3 tractor is specifically suited to landscaper, municipality, small-scale farmers and sustainable farming applications. Distinguished by its new “premium red” livery and a tough-looking body design, the YT3 tractor has been developed to let customers take pride in the refined construction of their tractor.
Rounded glass on all sides provides excellent all-round visibility while an ergonomically-designed interior incorporates easy-to-use levers for optimum productivity and reduced operator fatigue. The machine is powered by a fuel-efficient Yanmar diesel engine that has cleared EPA Final Tier 4 emissions regulations.
It also features “I-HMT” (integrated hydraulic mechanical transmission). Yanmar introduced the first functional solution in the segment of small tractors. This innovative transmission has positive features from both mechanical transmission and hydraulic transmission. Mechanical: High power transfer ratio, Repeatable operating speed, Good fuel consumption. Hydraulic: Step-less main shift, Best speed possible for implement, Clutch-less shifting, Vehicle stop without clutch.
SA424 Sub Compact Tractor for Landscaping and Municipality
Another new arrival on the Yanmar stand is the SA424 Sub Compact Tractor. The tractor is already available in the US and will be launched in Europe coming spring. Operated from a spacious and well-appointed cab, the SA424 features a cast-iron transaxle and two side-by-side hydrostatic transmission pedals that provide drivers with unprecedented levels of fine control. Powered by a fuel efficient and emissions compliant, three-cylinder Yanmar diesel engine driving through a proven Yanmar transmission, the SA424 is capable of a top speed of 21.5 km/h making it one of the fastest tractors in its weight class. The unit’s front loader can lift over 500 kilos of load, a level of power usually associated with much larger tractors. With class leading ground clearance and exceptional stability, the SA424 is a tough tractor designed for the most challenging terrain.
Modern-Design YK650QT Tiller for Safe and Easy Soil Cultivation
The new YK tiller series has been designed with three main user benefits in mind: ease of operation; reduced operator fatigue; and enhanced operator safety. Its main characteristics include deeper tilling with lower vibration; easy weed removal thanks to a new protector bar that helps prevent the unit becoming clogged; 33% lower pulling force quick start; and smooth turning courtesy of the adjustable resistance bar. Like the YT4 concept tractor, the YK Tiller Series has been designed by Ken Okuyama. It will be available in Europe next year.
EF235 Municipality Tractor
Already available is EF235, a compact tractor that is strong, comfortable and fast, boasting a top speed of 30 km/h. On show in a striking and highly-visible municipality orange livery, the EF235 is powered by Yanmar’s newly-developed TNV series diesel engine that offers greater power and more environmentally-friendly performance. With the EF235, Yanmar has developed a true year-round, all-weather municipality tractor with factory fitted spacious cabin. The machine is offered with a range of options that make it well suited to winter working applications. These include work lights, traction tyres, and working implements such as snow blades, brooms and salt spreaders. The EF235 model offers the best possible balance between implement handling capability, ride comfort and ease-of-operation. The EF235 tractor is popular among professional users in municipality work and extremely well-suited for the German market.
